Chilli cheesesteak sandwich

Youll need:

Approx. 400 g pre-seasoned, frozen kebab
1 yellow onion
125 g mozzarella
3-4 slices cheddar cheese
4 small baguettes/ ciabatta bread
1-2 tbsp jalapeño
Butter to fry in

Chilli cheesesteak

A simpler version of the classic Philly cheesesteak with ready made kebab. Perfect for cooking around the campfire or bringing along on a picnic.


  • Chop the onion and jalapeño. Slice the mozzarella into slices (we got five slices).
  • Melt butter and fry the ready-seasoned kebab until nicely colored.
  • Push all the meat together in a pile in the middle of the frying pan.
  • Place mozzarella and cheddar on top of the pile and let the cheeses melt over the meat. Top with some jalapeño.
  • Split the bread in half and ad a little (or a lot!) of sriracha.
  • Then fill the bread with cheese and the meat and onion mixture. Enjoy!
